The LibraryODERSA publishing house
An ODERSA resource · Knowledge programmeA book only goes online once it is whole and read by someone else.

What is new

Whatever changes gets a date. A what-is-new page that does not say when is of no use.

6 August 2026The publishing house opens its shopfront: the making method, the licence, the page for teachers, the frequent questions and the catalogue in its empty state. You can find out what this house will publish, on what conditions, and what you will be able to do with it, before a single book exists.
6 August 2026The positioning of the house is corrected after an online check, language by language, of what already exists in openly licensed textbooks. What this site says about the rest of the world can be verified: the addresses are on the sources page, with the date they were checked.
6 August 2026The site becomes readable without a connection for pages already visited, and that claim is proven by a program that switches the server off.A page opened once can be reread on a train, in a classroom with no network, or on an exhausted data plan.
The marbled edge of a nineteenth-century book seen from above: irregular veins run across the paper, with the embossed cloth board visible below.
The marbled edge of an 1856 binding. This page announces nothing: it records what has already happened, on its date.Credit

What goes into this record

  • A book published, with its title, its languages and its page count.
  • A correction made to a book after a report, with what changed and the new verification date.
  • One more language built, once parity holds.
  • A change to a rule of the house: licence, page floor, checking method.
  • A new or rebuilt page on this site.

The same record is published as a feed, whose address is on the site map and in the settings panel. A feed is read in the software of your choice, it asks for no email address and no account, and it tells nobody that you follow it.
